The dark game Pathos has only been released quite recently, yet it has already become a hit and evoked lots of speculations on how it can and should be interpreted. You may love it or hate it - but you can hardly remain indifferent.
ATTENTION: The text below contains some spoilers, so you might prefer to play the game first and come back for our review later!
Just a couple of words about the storyline - which is pretty simple, even if quite different from the majority of games we have come across before. A kid is staying late at his computer, and no matter how hard his mum tries to urge him to go to bed, he would not leave gaming, or browsing through the Internet, or whatever else he is doing - although obviously not studying, as it would immediately put the action of the story into some kind of imaginary impossible world.

You play as a criminal, who had just broken out of jail. You have to find some new work in this city and prove that you have what it takes to become a real gangster. You will have lots of missions to do that. The controls are almost like the computer game. In the GTA online you move with the navigation keys or WASD. To skip talking press the space button. Sewer Run 2 is certainly one of the best 3D skateboard online games ever made.
So you are riding a skateboard. The controls are quite simple - you control your character with the navigations keys. In order to make grabs use "Z" + a navigation key, or for tricks "X" + the same buttons. You should remember that pulling off tricks gains you boost. With time you gain kudos. This is something like currency in the game - you can unlock cheats with them for example.
Another interesting thing is that the player can personalize his character. You can change his gender (male & female), head, hair, clothing, wheels, board and even tricks! The best ones of course are locked, and again you have to use kudos to unlock them. There are awesome hair-styles by the way :)
Unlike many online games, you can turn off the music and the sounds here.... |

So, you are in a classroom where everybody studies and no one makes fun. It's up to you to spice things up in this special class. It's time to get down and naughty!
You have to use your mouse to play the game. Simply click on objects in different screens to make events happen. Some events can be triggered by clicking on two or more different objects. Some objects will get stored in the Inventory Panel, click on these objects to use them. Just make sure you pass items between friends for certain combinations to work.
