The classic of all classic board games, brought to life in another world!
Monopoly NES is the legendary online monopoly game part from the classic Nintendo games.
The storyline
of the game is quite interesting. Parker Brothers' MONOPOLY Real Estate Trading Game was presented to Parker Brothers during the Depression by Charles B. Darrow from Germantown, Pennsylvania. The first games by hand were made by Darrow, who gave them to friends and sold a few. But as demand grew, he could not keep up with the orders and arranged for Parker Brothers to acquire the rights to the game in 1935.
Since then, it has become the leading proprietary game not only in the United States but throughout the Western world. It is published under licence in 32 countries and in 23 foreign languages!
In the online version the controls are the following: Start Button - ENTER, Select Button - SPACE, A Button - X, B Button - Z, Left - Left Arrow, Right - Right Arrow, Up - Up Arrow, Down - Down Arrow. When the game begins, you have to roll your dices. The score by the two dices is gathered and you move with that many moves. When you move, you can buy the new building or upgrade it (if its yours). The great thing about the online monopoly is that it does all the tedious stuff like calculation for you - this job is pretty annoying for the people when they sit down to play in real life, unless they're trying to cheat of course. If you don't have an opponent, you can choose to play against computer opponents, or have up to 8 human players. It's maybe one thing that irritates and that's the music, which is the well known from all classic Nintendo games.
Play Monopoly online now - buy, sell, and trade property, trying to become a millionaire!
